My name is Tina Serra. I live in Michigan and married to my husband Michael for 37 years. We are blessed with 7 children and we homeschooled for 29 years k-12. Now they are all in their 20’s! I was able to stay home full time for 17 years until my husband became ill. Having to go back to work to help support the family I catapulted into the fabulous organization that Young Living provides and gave the ability to have control of my own hours and create the security of a residual income of a Platinum

I enrolled in Young Living November of 2009
My highest rank is Platinum but my goal is to be Diamond in 2018. I am focused on assisting others to succeed to Senior Star and beyond through support, encouragement, guidance, and offering resources like this, which will bring my OGV to Diamond naturally.

My color personality is Yellow and Red. Yes, it is an interesting combination. My yellow is always being cautious putting on the breaks and my red has my foot on the pedal, so I learned I was often running in a circle. I’ve intentionally put the effort in mastering this skill to better serve others and to stay sane.

My Favorite Product: I started my business by the sheer love of the NingXia Red Juice and what it did for me and my son. I couldn’t help but share my story with others (yellow) and I relished the thought of getting my NingXia for free when others bought it. If they are going to buy it, why not let it be under me (red)?

My Why: I could have gone back to finish my college degree of aeronautical engineering to support our family, but when I finished I would have had to work full time, and starting a career at 53 didn’t sound like a good plan. I had watched 3 of my older children get up at 5 am and work and study until 1 am to be on the dean’s lists in college. I decided if I treated YL as if I was going to college for 4 years I could create a residual income that would not only support us but a business my children could inherit.

My Current Why: I find great purpose in seeing others succeed in their health goals and drastically change their legacy financially. What better way to spend the day then anointing people with oil and praying for them. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

What I bring to the table is when I took my children to a swim lesson I watched them struggle as the instructor tried to assure me they would figure it out in time, outraged I jumped in the pool and step by step taught them how to hold their hands until they did it right then flap their feet with ease not vigorously. They learned to swim that day. They practiced getting more graceful and faster and it became second nature the rest of the year. I hope through the discussions in this blog you will feel more confident and grounded as you learn skills and ideas.
